Quincy would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers and for everything everyone has done for her. There has been many people that have donated to her and the kids. They now have three cribs, three car seats, and many more items that will help her out when the boys are ready to come home. She never realized that she would need as much help as she is getting and wants everyone that has donated to her and the boys to know that it is greatly appreciated and she doesn't know what she would have done if she didn't have the support of some great friends that have pulled off some amazing things for her. Thank you all so much and she will always be grateful. |

Quincy Nix was blessed with three boys on March 14th, 2008. The boys were not scheduled to be born until June 22nd, 2008, but they had other plans and decided to join the world 15 weeks premature. Quincy was flown to University of Utah, in Salt Lake city, on the night of March 13, and delivered on March 14th. The first boy to join the population was Braxton James Nix. He was born at 1:35pm, weighing 1 lb. 12oz. The second boy to join us was Briar Daniels Nix at 1:36pm, weighing 1 lb. 3oz. And finally Brayden James Nix joined us at 1:37pm, weighing 1 lb. 8 oz. They were all put on ventilators to help them breathe. One week after they were born Braxton and Briar both had to be taken over to Primary Children's Hospital where they went through surgery for perforated bowels. Briar had 4cm of bowel removed and Braxton didn't have any bowel removed, they both now have stoma's and ileostomy bags and are still at Primary's. |
